CCOO values positively the location of this training center in Cuenca, as it has always advocated for the need to have a Penitentiary Studies Center where prison staff can receive the professional training they need for their complex tasks. The government has committed to preparing and operating this training center, as part of an agreement that also aims to improve the remuneration of prison personnel. 11.3 million euros will be allocated for its construction. CCOO expects the center to have its own teaching staff and a curriculum program for different professional categories, in order to enhance the professional development of prison staff.
